The Best Homemade Collagen Pumpkin Spice Latte | Healthy & Low Sugar

Are you all in with the pumpkin spice latte craze but don’t want to miss your morning hit of collagen coffee? Skip those sugary coffee shop lattes, save some extra money and give this easy homemade recipe a try! Not only does the collagen give this fall drink a little nutritional lift but it also adds to the frothiness!


Here's what you'll need to make it...

  • 2 cups milk of choice (I used unsweetened oat milk)

  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree or more to taste

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup (depending on how sweet you like it)

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus more for serving

  • 1 scoop Genuine Health Collagen powder (unflavoured)

  • 1/2 cup strong hot coffee

Steps:

  1. Add milk, pumpkin puree, and maple syrup to a saucepan over medium heat. Heat until hot, but do not boil.

  2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, collagen powder and the coffee.

  3. Divide the mixture between two mugs. (Optional: Add more oat milk to a milk frother or use a whisk to create foam. Top your latte with milk foam or whipped cream and pumpkin spice)
